Voting has started for the 9th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards and New York City’s Dirty Boy Video has been nominated for 9 awards. Thanks to surfers and professionals alike, DBV is in the running with companies like Falcon, Colt, and Bel Ami.
“Winning even one of these awards would be amazing, but it’s an honor to be nominated. The competition is really really strong, this year.” says producer Andy Fair, who is recognized by the industry as a contender for Business Person of the Year, “It’s great to get a sense that you’re doing it right.”
The Cybersocket Web Awards honors the best GLBT websites. Each year, outstanding sites are recognized for their achievements in both "Surfer’s Choice" and "Industry Choice" categories.
Two other nominated sites under the Dirty Boy Video umbrella are:
• BuzzedUp.com for Best Black Theme Adult Site
• GearAction.com for Best Fetish Site
Award winners will be announced Feb. 9 during the 9th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards Show in Hollywood, Calif. Since 2000, the Cybersocket Web Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in the world of queer online media and entertainment.
